 How much does a free ad cost?

More than nothing, I'll give you the tip. 

Nothing is ever really free - it's that "time versus money" thing, but free advertising sites can be a valuable way of getting traffic to your site and importantly getting valuable back links as well.

There are thousands of free ad sites and what you want to be able to do with them is to invest a little time, place the ad and move on.  Some high traffic sites are worth investing a small amount of advertising dollars in.

Free advertising sites take all sorts of forms but essentially what you're looking for is high traffic, a back link (preferably) and some guarantee that the ad will be read by someone.

There is no better traffic than targeted organic search engine traffic but it can be real difficult to generate even with popular sites like Squidoo, Hubpages and Wordpress. A great way to get viewers and have a chance of picking up Search Engine visitors is the wonderful Instant Blog Subscribers. Make n mistake - this site gives me more visitors every wek then any of the other sites listed on this page - if you're not a member, you are missing out - join today- free.

Here are some free ad sites that I have found to be worthwhile. 

Apsense is a tremendously vibrant social network for internet Marketers. Apsense has some really innovative features including rev pages, apsense me ( a Twitter like function) a business exchange network and a Traffic Exchange. It is an awesome networking facility that seemingly has a new feature added every other week. This is well worth joining.

US FREE ADS - free to join and post to. I find that realistically the $10 pro option allows me to post as many ads as I want and gives me targeted visitors for pennies. I highly recommend it.

EZ ADS NETWORK  This is hard to describe. It's almost a safelist but it's based on text ads not unlike Google ads.  All I know is that people visit my site and it generates leads. Well worth a look.

As I said, there are thousands of these sites, but these are the best ones that I've found.
